What time does the Peachtree Center open in Atlanta? ›

The Hub hours are from 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM Monday - Sunday, subject to change.

Atlanta's famous street name is widely known due in part to Margaret Mitchell's novel, Gone With the Wind, which introduced the city and its most famous street to popular culture.

Atlanta grew on a site occupied by the Creek people, which included a major village called Standing Peachtree. There is some dispute over whether the Creek settlement was called Standing Peachtree or Standing Pitch Tree, corrupted later to peach.

The event was cancelled for 2020 due to the sale of Underground Atlanta and other logistical issues, as well as 2021 and 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event successfully returned for 2023 but would no longer be an annual event.

Peaches. Of course, the peach's distinction can't be denied. The state's iconic fruit has thrived here since the late 1500s. Fresh Georgia peaches are available from May to August, and this sweet fruit is never in short supply.
