Generation change is happening, and me, as someone who have seen old aviation as a kid, but also as a proffessional think aviation in general is going in the wrong direction skill-wise, because my father and his generation(Einar,Jan, Anders P. ,Erik in CPH in SAS, my former boss and Marek in Go2Sky, a lot of guys of older generation in CTN) were/are more skilled than us, and our generation is looking at the further decline with Gen Z. But, regardless of the decline, they are still heroes of the industry working through holidays, nights and weekends, because, unlike pilots, they do keep aviation going 24/7, and are usually more trained(to get a licence, you will need up to 7 years in total, and a lot of learning) are more skilled than their flying counterparts. We have to think what cost cutting has done to aviation, and what talent we are attracting long term.

FOREIGN LABOUR LIFTED GDP WITH 7% AND TURNED PUBLIC DEFICIT TO SURPLUSIn an analysis done for the Vinnuhúsið - House of Industry I estimate the economic impact of the growing number of foreign workers on the Faroese economy. The analysis is inspired by similar work on the Danish economy by Kraka (2019) and De Økonomiske Råds Sekretariat (2017).

How can you captivate others and inspire them to be drawn to you? It appears that this approach works similarly whether we apply such behaviour around children or adults. In this short video clip, Gabor Maté explained his perspective on this topic. How can you incorporate this insight into your daily life to captivate your team members instead of trying to persuade or discipline them?

I’M PROUD OF MY SAMOAN HERITAGE & CULTUREAt the end of every important event there is a “Taualuga”. (tau-ah-loo-ngah)This is considered the Apex or Grandfinale of the event!—> I get emotional everytime this part of the event comes around. 🥹—> Reason being, it symbolizes the family, village and community coming together to support, encourage and be there for the individual dancing as they venture into the next phase of their journey. Whether it’s a graduation, wedding, funeral, 16th birthday, a 21st, receiving a doctorate or any major milestone your people will be there to support and hype you up as you take the next steps. We can apply the same principles in our personal lives and in business.1. Are you the friend who hypes your people up?2. Are you the uncle or aunt who shows up to support every game your nieces and nephews have?3. Are you the business man or account executive who supports your clients by helping them navigate the best solution to their goals not yours? 4. When you are working out a deal with a prospect do you bring supportive/service based energy? If you do awesome! If not, this is a reminder 😉Everyday we have an opportunity to make an IMPACT!Here is how I might be able to help you do that.1. Helping Businesses Increase Brand Awareness with Promotional Products & Swag2. Connecting Accredited & Non Accredited Investors to IMPACTFUL Commercial Real Estate InvestmentsLet’s go!#service #impact #business #sales #aapi #samoa #pacificislander

My favorite part of this campaign has been the big boost in morale among our employees and the community. It wasn't just about setting a Guinness World Record; it was about changing the direction we were headed in. I can tell you that the past few weeks, as a group we made that happen 🥹. In every campaign, we've got three main goals to remember:First, we need to get everyone in the community and our team engaged, to cultivate a sense of connection and belonging. Second, we've got to make sure more people know about our brand, especially when you are new in an area. This is a crucial stage that needs on going efforts to amplify visibility and recognition in the community. And third, we've got to make a real impact by achieving measurable results that line up with our overarching marketing objectives. Our marketing strategy is the most important part of the puzzle. It's like the master plan behind everything we do. There's always a reason why we're doing what we're doing, and the strategy lays out the steps we need to take to get there. Without it, everything falls apart, and we can't make the pieces fit together.Strategy matters because people matter. ❤️

Happy Sunday morning, Brian.TBH, and perhaps slightly strangely, your post / video makes me think of Disneyland.Looks great, and #Communicates something positive (presumably!?) until some fool "prangs" it.At which point social media might break, with all the hilarious Diageo / Specsavers memes ensuing. Although I do hear some people say that ALL publicity is good publicity.I have a long (boring) anecdote about Guinness and trains. A dim and distant memory which your post has triggered. It dates from when I first joined the business about 100 years ago, and toured the enormous Park Royal site, during my induction. But here's the short version. Former Guinness colleagues and friends, at least those who were sober enough to notice, will surely attest to its truth...That's where and when Guinness GB had its own marshalling yards, shunting engines, etc., with easy access onto British Railway's goods & freight network. I've little doubt a similar model would have been echoed at Runcorn, another major Guinness shipping and transport hub.The #Logistics boss of that time (long pre-Climate Change awareness) proudly boasted there was no quicker or more efficient way to haul goods in the UK.Then, perhaps unsurprisingly, Thatcher and friends got hold of all that and gave us a world-class(?) privatised rail system, instead. And now all that "Rail" freight is on our over-congested and pot-holed (some might say "corrugated") roads. Add it to the sewage-filled UK water, a dysfunctional postal system, which barely even aspires to being second-class mail any more, Fat Cat energy businesses, and so much more besides.See what you've (inadvertently) started me off on, Brian!😉
